Con <strong>Julie Doucet<\/strong>, se elige una autrice sin concesiones, radical y subversiva. Fue una de las pioneras de la autobiograf\u00eda en c\u00f3mics, contando su vida cotidiana, pero tambi\u00e9n sus sue\u00f1os y pesadillas. Despu\u00e9s de estudiar las artes pl\u00e1sticas en el <strong>C\u00e9gep<\/strong> del <strong>Viejo Montreal<\/strong> a principios de los a\u00f1os 1980, se matricul\u00f3 en la <strong>Universidad de Quebec<\/strong> en <strong>Montreal<\/strong>, donde complet\u00f3 un certificado en artes de impresi\u00f3n. Durante sus estudios, descubre el c\u00f3mic y comienza a publicar un fanzine fotocopiado: <strong>Dirty plotte<\/strong>, en el que documenta en franc\u00e9s y en ingl\u00e9s su vida cotidiana, sus sue\u00f1os, sus angustias. Sus trabajos, que edita en tirada limitada en serigraf\u00eda, son a veces publicados por <strong>Drawn &amp; Quarterly<\/strong>. Vive en una favela con su novio, <strong>Al\u00faisio<\/strong>, y la hija que tuvo con otro hombre. Cuando ella sale demasiado cerca de los miembros de una banda, <strong>M\u00e1rcia<\/strong> pide a <strong>Al\u00faisio<\/strong> que la vigile.<br>Una inmersi\u00f3n apasionante en el coraz\u00f3n de la sociedad brasile\u00f1a contempor\u00e1nea, magnificada por flam\u00edgeros colores aplanados.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcello Quintanilha<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Naci\u00f3 en 1971 en <strong>Niter\u00f3i<\/strong> (estado de <strong>R\u00edo de Janeiro<\/strong>). Autodidacta, comenz\u00f3 su carrera como dibujante en 1988 en el c\u00f3mic de terror, y luego trabaj\u00f3 en el dibujo animado durante una d\u00e9cada. Luego se convirti\u00f3 en ilustrador de numerosas revistas y peri\u00f3dicos brasile\u00f1os, y public\u00f3 su primer libro en 1999, &#8220;<strong>Fealdade de Fabiano Gorila<\/strong>&#8220;, basado en la vida de su padre, jugador de f\u00fatbol profesional en la d\u00e9cada de 1950.<br>En 2002, firma con las ediciones del <strong>Lombard<\/strong> para realizar los dibujos de la serie &#8220;<strong>Siete balas para Oxford<\/strong>&#8221; sobre textos de <strong>Jorge Zentner y<\/strong> <strong>Montecarlo<\/strong> (siete \u00e1lbumes publicados hasta la fecha). En 2009, la colecci\u00f3n de noticias &#8220;<strong>Mis Queridos S\u00e1bados<\/strong>&#8221; (<strong>S\u00e1bado dos Meus Amores<\/strong>) se publica en <strong>Brasil<\/strong>. Su primera novela gr\u00e1fica, &#8220;<strong>Tungsteno<\/strong>&#8220;, publicada en 2015 en <strong>Francia<\/strong> en ediciones <strong>\u00e7\u00e0 et l\u00e0<\/strong>, gan\u00f3 el <strong>Premio del Polar<\/strong> en el <strong>Festival de Angulema 2016<\/strong> antes de ser adaptado al cine por el realizador <strong>Heitor Dhalia<\/strong>. &#8220;<strong>Talc de Verre<\/strong>&#8221; fue publicado en <strong>Francia<\/strong> 2016, luego &#8220;<strong>L&#8217; Atenea<\/strong>&#8221; en 2017 y &#8220;<strong>Las Luces de Niteroi<\/strong>&#8221; en 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcello Quintanilha<\/strong> recibi\u00f3 muchos otros premios, incluyendo la <strong>Bienal Internacional de C\u00f3mics de R\u00edo de Janeiro<\/strong> en 1991 y 1993.
