El Festival Internacional de la Historieta de Angoul\u00eame 2022<\/strong> se celebr\u00f3 del 17 de marzo al 20 marzo 2022<\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s del estadounidense Chris Ware<\/strong> en 2021 y la mangaka Rumiko Takahashi<\/strong> el a\u00f1o anterior, la canadiense Julie Doucet<\/strong> es elegida Gran Premio de la 49\u00aa edici\u00f3n del Festival Internacional de la Historieta de Angoul\u00eame<\/strong>. Con Julie Doucet<\/strong>, se elige una autrice sin concesiones, radical y subversiva. Fue una de las pioneras de la autobiograf\u00eda en c\u00f3mics, contando su vida cotidiana, pero tambi\u00e9n sus sue\u00f1os y pesadillas. Ha construido una obra eminentemente personal y libre, sin ninguna preocupaci\u00f3n por las conveniencias; una obra radicalmente feminista que aborda temas y motivos raramente evocados, sobre todo de manera tan directa, el cuerpo, las reglas, las fantas\u00edas sexuales, las cuestiones de g\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n\n

\"Julie<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

Julie Doucet<\/strong>, nacida en 1965 en Montreal<\/strong>, es una de las autora de c\u00f3mics m\u00e1s importantes de finales del siglo pasado. Despu\u00e9s de estudiar las artes pl\u00e1sticas en el C\u00e9gep<\/strong> del Viejo Montreal<\/strong> a principios de los a\u00f1os 1980, se matricul\u00f3 en la Universidad de Quebec<\/strong> en Montreal<\/strong>, donde complet\u00f3 un certificado en artes de impresi\u00f3n. Durante sus estudios, descubre el c\u00f3mic y comienza a publicar un fanzine fotocopiado: Dirty plotte<\/strong>, en el que documenta en franc\u00e9s y en ingl\u00e9s su vida cotidiana, sus sue\u00f1os, sus angustias. El t\u00edtulo fue retomado en 1991 por el editor \u2192 Drawn & Quarterly<\/strong><\/a> en Montreal<\/strong>, que los public\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n

Despu\u00e9s de vivir en Nueva York<\/strong>, Seattle<\/strong> y Berl\u00edn<\/strong>, Julie Doucet<\/strong> regres\u00f3 a Montreal<\/strong> donde vive y trabaja, operando ahora en un campo m\u00e1s cercano a las artes gr\u00e1ficas (collage, poes\u00eda, novela-foto). Sus trabajos, que edita en tirada limitada en serigraf\u00eda, son a veces publicados por Drawn & Quarterly<\/strong>. La ensayista Anne-Elizabeth Moore<\/strong> public\u00f3 en 2018 un estudio sobre la obra de Julie Doucet<\/strong> (\u2192 Sweet Little Cunt: The Graphic Work of Julie Doucet<\/strong><\/a>), a quien percibe como precursora de un nuevo feminismo en el c\u00f3mic.<\/p>\n

M\u00e1rcia<\/strong> es enfermera en un hospital cerca de R\u00edo<\/strong>. Vive en una favela con su novio, Al\u00faisio<\/strong>, y la hija que tuvo con otro hombre. Cuando ella sale demasiado cerca de los miembros de una banda, M\u00e1rcia<\/strong> pide a Al\u00faisio<\/strong> que la vigile.
Una inmersi\u00f3n apasionante en el coraz\u00f3n de la sociedad brasile\u00f1a contempor\u00e1nea, magnificada por flam\u00edgeros colores aplanados.<\/p>\n

Marcello Quintanilha<\/strong><\/p>\n

Naci\u00f3 en 1971 en Niter\u00f3i<\/strong> (estado de R\u00edo de Janeiro<\/strong>). Autodidacta, comenz\u00f3 su carrera como dibujante en 1988 en el c\u00f3mic de terror, y luego trabaj\u00f3 en el dibujo animado durante una d\u00e9cada. Luego se convirti\u00f3 en ilustrador de numerosas revistas y peri\u00f3dicos brasile\u00f1os, y public\u00f3 su primer libro en 1999, “Fealdade de Fabiano Gorila<\/strong>“, basado en la vida de su padre, jugador de f\u00fatbol profesional en la d\u00e9cada de 1950.
En 2002, firma con las ediciones del Lombard<\/strong> para realizar los dibujos de la serie “Siete balas para Oxford<\/strong>” sobre textos de Jorge Zentner y<\/strong> Montecarlo<\/strong> (siete \u00e1lbumes publicados hasta la fecha). En 2009, la colecci\u00f3n de noticias “Mis Queridos S\u00e1bados<\/strong>” (S\u00e1bado dos Meus Amores<\/strong>) se publica en Brasil<\/strong>. Su primera novela gr\u00e1fica, “Tungsteno<\/strong>“, publicada en 2015 en Francia<\/strong> en ediciones \u00e7\u00e0 et l\u00e0<\/strong>, gan\u00f3 el Premio del Polar<\/strong> en el Festival de Angulema 2016<\/strong> antes de ser adaptado al cine por el realizador Heitor Dhalia<\/strong>. “Talc de Verre<\/strong>” fue publicado en Francia<\/strong> 2016, luego “L’ Atenea<\/strong>” en 2017 y “Las Luces de Niteroi<\/strong>” en 2018.<\/p>\n

Marcello Quintanilha<\/strong> recibi\u00f3 muchos otros premios, incluyendo la Bienal Internacional de C\u00f3mics de R\u00edo de Janeiro<\/strong> en 1991 y 1993. Su colecci\u00f3n “Mis queridos s\u00e1bados<\/strong>” gan\u00f3 el premio al mejor dibujante HQ Mix<\/strong> en 2009.
Desde 2002 vive y trabaja en Barcelona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n
