Se lo conoce sobre todo por dos pel\u00edculas que tuvieron una gran influencia en el desarrollo posterior del cine franc\u00e9s: &#8220;<strong>Cero en conducta<\/strong>&#8221; (<strong>1933<\/strong>) y &#8220;<strong>L&#8217;Atalante<\/strong>&#8221; (<strong>1934<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>En <strong>1951<\/strong>, fue creado en su honor en <strong>Francia<\/strong> el <strong>Premio Jean Vigo<\/strong>, que ha distinguido frecuentemente a j\u00f3venes realizadores.
